I've lived in BC since I was in 2nd grade. I'm 22 now. Yes, Brookdale was a great place to shop before they did all of this remodeling. Now all of the decent stores are gone. Brookdale wasnt even that bad until they built that bus hub. Its been bringing people from Mpls & STP ((Brookdale is an easy place to steal from)) I live near the border of N. Mpls & its mostly the elderly. It really isnt a bad place to live. Definately NOT a "ghetto". Its all the bad news, but you never hear about the good so you just automatically think Brooklyn Center is crap.
